Gift Cards FAQ
A Cinemark gift card is a credit card-shaped card that can have monetary value added to it and then used like a debit card at all Cinemark theatre locations nationwide. The gift card easily fits in a pocket, wallet or purse. Because the gift card is plastic, there is no concern of it tearing or getting wet. Cinemark gift cards can be reloaded with additional value once original funds have been depleted.
A Cinemark e-Gift Card is an electronic card that is emailed to you. Simply print out the e-Gift Card and present it to the box office cashier to enter at checkout.
Plastic Cinemark gift cards can be purchased at all Cinemark locations. Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards can also be purchased online at cinemark.com under the "Gift Cards" tab. Personalized Cinemark gift cards are only available for purchase online at cinemark.com.
To make purchases with your Cinemark gift card on the Cinemark website or in the Cinemark mobile apps, first register the card to your Cinemark account.
Sign in to your Cinemark account, or register for a new account if you don’t already have one. Once you’ve signed in, proceed to the My Gift Cards page within your account. Here you can register your card and give it a unique name to help you remember which card this is (e.g. “Snowflake Card from Susie”).
Check the balance of your Cinemark gift card by visiting cinemark.com/giftcards and entering your gift card number, located on the back of the card.
Cinemark Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards can be used to purchase movie tickets, concession items or food and beverage items at the Café and Studio Eats Restaurants (located inside select theatre locations).
To reload your Cinemark gift card balance on the Cinemark website, first register the card to your Cinemark account.

All registered gift cards will display the current balance. If you’d like to add money to your registered gift card, click the “Reload” button for that card, and follow the instructions to specify the amount and complete the payment.
All Cinemark theatres accept and sell Cinemark Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards. You may purchase a Cinemark plastic Gift Card at all theatre box offices. Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards can also be purchased online. To view available designs and order Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards, select “Gift Cards” from the menu at the top of this website.
To purchase tickets online using your Cinemark Gift Card, your card must first be registered. You also must be signed into your Cinemark account in order to use your Gift Card or e-Gift Card. When you view your Shopping Cart while signed in, your registered gift cards and their balances will be listed in your payment options.
Theatre kiosks accept Cinemark Gift Cards, but not e-Gift Cards.
